Join Us!

Joining the Society is easy. All you have to do is download and a complete a membership application form and send it to us along with a cheque for £15 (individual member), £20 (two-person family living at same address) or £5 (Junior member U16).

Send all completed application forms to our treasurer Nigel Joslin at 9 Garlies Crescent, Newton Stewart, DG8 5DZ.

All cheques should be made payable to "Wigtownshire Astronomical Society".

Members should also consider completing a gift aid form which is available for download here.

Members can attend our monthly meetings, which are held on the second Friday of every month during the winter. The fourth Friday of the month is set aside for obeserving sessions.

Members are free to use our sliding roof observatory at any time, providing they have undertaken the neccessary training.
